The Strange Death of Brittany Murphy – Episode #68
The Strange Death of Brittany Murphy
Brittany Murphy broke out as Tai in 1995’s Clueless and went on to roles in Girl, Interrupted, 8 Mile, and Sin City before her sudden death in December 2009 at age 32. Raised in Atlanta by her single mother Sharon, Murphy had reportedly lost a noticeable amount of weight and was fired from a film shoot in Puerto Rico in the days before she fell ill.
Her official cause of death, per the autopsy, was acute pneumonia complicated by iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication; the prescription medications found in her system, including hydrocodone, were reported at therapeutic levels. Her husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack, died roughly five months later in the same Hollywood Hills home, with his autopsy also citing pneumonia and severe anemia.
The near-identical causes of death for both spouses fueled a wave of speculation, including theories about toxic mold in the house, foul play, and pharmaceutical involvement. The hosts are clear that official findings attribute both deaths to natural causes, and they treat the murder and mold theories as unproven, discussing them as speculation rather than established fact.
- The coroner ruled Brittany Murphy’s official cause of death as acute pneumonia, complicated by iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication, with the prescription drugs found in her system reported at therapeutic levels.
- Her husband, screenwriter Simon Monjack, died about five months later in the same house; his autopsy reportedly cited pneumonia and severe anemia, with similar prescription drugs in his system.
- The hosts note that both deaths sharing nearly identical medical causes struck them as an unlikely coincidence, though they acknowledge this pattern alone is circumstantial, not proof.
- One theory discussed is toxic mold exposure in the home; the hosts call this unproven and point out that Murphy’s mother, who also lived there, reportedly showed no symptoms.
- Murphy’s will reportedly left her assets to her mother and excluded her husband, a detail the hosts say fueled speculation, while stressing a will by itself is not evidence of wrongdoing.
- Despite official findings attributing both deaths to natural causes, the hosts describe persistent unproven theories ranging from foul play to pharmaceutical company involvement that continue to circulate among fans.

Hey everybody, welcome back to the Conspiracy Podcast. It’s us again, we’re back again, always back. Uh, episode 69. I’m not even just saying, be weird. Yeah, I think it might be, I think it’s 68, 69. There, yeah. So tonight we are going to do an episode, and it’s all about the death of Britney Murphy. So I was just asking you guys, do you guys know anything about the death of Britney Murphy? Like, very little. Yeah, same, very little. You know who she is? Yes. Yeah, yeah, actress. Yeah. She’s always like, like the [bleep], it’s got like the sunken circles under her eyes. Yeah, a little bit.
Yeah, yeah, a little bit, a little bit. Let’s just di in, we don’t need to do a whole thing. I mean, our last episode we kind of digressed the whole episode, let’s, good. Also, we get a lot of feedback saying that we, they like us to just go to it. I, yeah, just go, we don’t need to like go off on a, but I do feel like some of our more Die Hard people, they like the ban, it’s fun and like, you know, hang out with us. But other people are like, oh, couldn’t even [bleep] listen, couldn’t even bear it, oh my God, idiots. They all sound like that too, yeah.
That’s how, when I read them, when I read the review, that’s the voice that’s in. So, Britney Murphy, she’s celebrated for her dynamic performances, and I mean, she’s got a lot of, I guess you would call them classics, a catalog. Yeah, she was Clueless. Class, I don’t know if you remember a movie with Angelina Julie called Girl, Interrupted? Oh yeah, I do. Uh, I think Angelina won an Academy for that, an award or something. Nominated maybe. Nom, yeah. She was an8 mile, she was in Sin City. So she’s got, you know, these are good movies, these are early 2000, late s kind of classics. Yeah, they, they’re solid, they’re solid movies.
However, she had a sudden demise in 2009, and it sent shock waves throughout the world, and she died when she was 32 years old. It’s hella young, bro. Yeah, it’s too young. I am, so, as we do on this podcast, we like to go back to the beginning and find out who she is, where she’s from, uh, what she did. She was born on November 10th, 1977, in Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta, that’s right. Uh, she unearthed her passion for acting at an early age, and she was nurtured by her single mother, Sharon. Good for you, Sharon. Yeah, and she helped her and kind of guided her and and supported her, and they ventured to LA to pursue her Hollywood dreams.
God, sorry, I, every, like, I hear it, it’s like GH. Her breakthrough role arrived in 1995 with the classic Clueless. That’s crazy that her, like, first role is like that, like, and Eight Mile. Oh yeah, she was the lead in, she was a lead, she was a lead for sure. So, but she was, she, you know, she was, her character was Tai, and she was the girl, like the skater girl. Yeah, that, then they gave a makeover. Oh yeah, and she was like hot. Yeah, yeah. And then it was like her classic moment is, was, she hits her head in the party, and then the guy comes and she goes, “Can you do this,” and she goes, “Rolling with the homie, with the homie.” I mean, I haven’t seen some bump you got there.
Yeah, yeah, you ready to go back out there? Yeah, all right. Sher, can you do this? Rolling with the homies, rolling, the, let’s do it, you’re ready. Out. Yeah, you have to give that. I’m going to need, I’m, I’m going to need compensation, 299, I’m need. Yeah, anyway, so she then went on to do a Girl, Interrupted, Don’t Say a Word, 8 Mile. She was alongside Eminem in 8 Mile, and she was basically the main, the main female lead, female lead. Yeah. So, despite her professional triumphs with breaking out into movies, her personal journey was fraught with challenges. She started dating an actor named Ashton Kutcher.
They did that movie where they like got married, Just Married. Just Married, they just married, and it was kind of like a romcom, yeah, where they were getting to know each other, and sort of that sort of thing. And then they met, and then they started dating. So I feel like that always, doesn’t that always happen in h, like, we’re on a movie together, we’re like, you know, you’re around that person for so long, and it’s like, it’s like you force, you like forc the connection, and they’re like, “You go back to my trailer, let’s get to know each other a little bit better.” Have you guys seen, uh, 8 Mile?
My fa, I love, yeah, I love it. I feel like Eminem’s acting is not the great, but he was himself. Yes. So that worked out. No, he was himself, but even that was kind of like forced, and like, some of, I think, like the little couple of, like, the fight scenes were hilarious. Yeah, just like, but I also do, I do like that, what’s his name, um, you know, the, the [bleep], oh my God, uh, Falcon, whatever, what, I don’t remember. His, oh yeah, yeah, he’s in it, he’s, um, what’s his name, that’s CL, that’s kill me, what’s his name, his real name’s Clarence, CL, home, both parents [bleep].
That’s to kill me. CL, parents have a real good marriage, I love, like, that’s like the discs, like his, his, his parents were happily married, like [bleep] loser, they’re like, “Oh, his parents are happy,” they like a good school, upper middle class, piece of [bleep], like, it’s like what the [bleep], like that’s what he’s getting dissed about. No, but out of all the rapper movies, Tupac and Biggie and 50 c and all this, like, that was the better one, huh? I really liked it. And because, obviously, the soundtrack was great. Talking about Makai, fer Mak? No, no, I’m not talking, no. Oh no, he’s talking about, I’m talking about the other guy, the guy who played [bleep], the guy that was doing the B, fer my friend, future is unle time, Anthony Mack.
Anthony Mack, his name, Papa do. Pap, Papa do, but his name is CL. Anyways, do you, uh, I liked, I, I thought it was, you like it, was a goodie. Yeah, it’s actually, I saw it on one of the streaming services, I, I might have to like give a little little pass. Yeah, of course, not that good. I do feel super bad, if I was Eminem I would have like refuted to have that four, 4 second, sex scene, and he’s like, “Yeah,” he’s like all awkward after, you know, “Can call me later.” Yeah, and she’s like, “Oh yeah, okay, bye.” And I was like, “Oh man, I’m like, no wonder if she was [bleep] the other dude, bro, clearly that’s not satisfying,” playing for either of you, like nobody won in that sex scene, it’s just really bad.
So what’s crazy about her life is, is towards the end, how do you explain it, she basically, she broke up with Ashton, she was engaged to two other people, and then she met a man by the name of Simon mjac, and Simon mjac was a screenwriter, and he was an interesting individual, and I watched a documentary about Simon Monjack, and he was basically a notorious liar about everything. I mean, he looks like, yeah, how, hell, I know, and he doesn’t look like, he’s, he doesn’t look like he would be able to swing, um, Britney Murphy. No, exactly. Ian, play that one. Yeah, you know what I mean.
I mean, yeah, 100%, yeah, I agree, yeah, yeah, I mean, she’s way better looking than him. Right, he has a tremendously large head. She kind of, she goes from Ashton to, I know, Simon, wow, it’s like a, no offense, step, Simon, passed. I mean, hey, I’m not talking sh, the dead, but I mean, like, we can at least all agree it seems strange, the initial, it’s a step down. Yeah, the initial, you know. But in a lot of the witnesses and the reporting, including his own family, it was a lot about, he would, he would just plain lie, and he would just be like, “Hey, I, yeah, you know, I’m a billionaire from a royal family,” and then they’re like, “What, no you’re, no you’re not.” I, I think he took like the Hollywood, like, fake it toega thing, like, but somehow, or some way, he got her in trans with her.
Well, clearly, it’s like we don’t know what we’re doing, he’s, he’s got, he, he had, had the code, cack I, on a very different level. It’s, do you remember the, the guy, Princess Diana, yes, the, no, the, the husband, remember, the, oh, the guy, the the guy that she was, that in the car with her? Mhm. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you remember. And he just doesn’t, he looks like an old man compared to it, just kind of was a strange, I don’t know, maybe he was funny, I don’t know, I don’t know, maybe this guy, maybe this guy was from a ro friend, maybe, like, like, hella rich.
So, towards the end, of towards the latter part of her, her life, she started to get really thin, you can start to see in the pictures, she started to go from, so if you look at her from Clueless, MH, she wasn’t fat, and she wasn’t pudgy, but this is good, yeah, she was like a, like a normal, like the normal size with color, and with, you know, that sort of thing, and then the last, I guess, six months of her life, she’s, she’s, uh, gaunt. Yeah, gaunt’s a great word for it, and she’s thinned out, and she, very white, pasty. Yes, exactly. So we don’t really know, I mean, it, what it was from, it is also Hollywood, you know, I feel like everyone is always keeping up with the Joneses there, and it’s, how you going to, well, one of the things was, that beautiful, I don’t know, she was actually told that she was not skinny enough, right, for movies, and actually, this is the quote, you ready?
Yeah. You’re not [bleep], who said this, is this, was this, was this [bleep]? This is, this came out in a magazine article, was this Harvey and I? [bleep] we should look that up, probably. I mean, listen, [bleep] we’re not [bleep], well, because she had the [bleep] dark hair and she was kind of like, I don’t want to say dark hair, sorry, she was just kind of, she had abnormal hair, that doesn’t make sense either, she just didn’t look like the stereotypical Hollywood girl. No, but she, but she was, she was, but she was pretty, like she was like not bad looking at all. I know.
So then she started doing, I guess you would call the movies that, just movies straight to the Tremors 4. Well, she did a, a movie called The Expendables, not what you’re thinking, oh, I was like, I was like those movies made shitloads of money, not what you were thinking, it was a romcom just bombed, called The Expendables. Oh, and then they, they sold the rights, they sold the rights to the name and like [bleep] Stone, like I’ll take it. She did another movie called Abandoned, never heard of it. Heard it, yeah. So she just, she started do like Lifetime movies, yeah, and like, like BC kind of movies, straight to, straight to, yeah, like right where Steven Seagal lies, you know, like in that, last chance.
But then she started to lose tons of weight, and she, you know, there were rumors about drugs and kind of like drugs that were not, you know, like heavy drugs that would cause the side effect of weight loss, like cocaine or something, like mass. You’re saying, you’re saying not those, no, those, but not like, like, like crack. Yeah, well, she, she was in Hollywood, obviously. Peasant, exactly. [bleep] she got Primo, Primo drug before it gets to crack, it’s in, it’s the cocaine form. So she married this guy, she married Simon Monjack, and then she was living with her mom, who is a single mom, and so just the three of them.
Oh, they were all living together. Living together, yeah. Why, she part of the story, he didn’t want to show off his royalty part of the story. No, but they were living at the mom’s house, or their mom was living with them, Britty Murphy’s, the, the bread, that’s what I thought. No, sorry, the way you said that, she was living with her mom, I was like, why is she staying at her mom, makes sense, yeah, okay, maybe she, yeah, I, okay, that’s deal, that’s fine, no big deal so far, single mom so far, okay. So the precise details of this are, you going to say Simon M Jack bone and the mom, precise details of this segment are not fully documented, this is what we know based on speculation, no, this is based on like reports and different news articles and sort of thing, and this is news articles, cred, this the last couple days, this is the last couple days of Britney Murphy’s life, you ready?
Yeah, yeah, okay. The morning of December 19th, 2009, Brady Murphy wakes up in her Hollywood Hills home, breakfast, light exercise, relaxation. The afternoon, she does work commitments, meetings, personal errands, reports suggest that she’s not feeling super great, and rumors existed of her experiencing nausea and fatigue. Okay, okay, I mean I felt that the other day, that was yeah, December 19th, for sure. So that night, she spends evening at home, enjoying dinner, spending time with their husband and their pets, cuz they had a few pets, there are no specific details about her activities during the evening hours, but it’s assumed that she went to bed fairly early.
Yeah. Next morning, how would they assume that? I’m sorry, I know it’s an assumption, it’s assume she went to bed at 9:00 p.m. I’m like, how the [bleep], the next day, the next day, it was reported that she told her husband that she had symptoms during the night, including difficulty breathing and chest pains. Okay, like, okay, okay, that could be number of things, but sure. Y, the next morning, concerned about her condition, M Jack, the guy, the husband, calls emergency services for assistance, paramedics arrive at Hollywood’s homes and find her unresponsive in the bathroom. Yeah, like when you were taking her, like, if I’m sorry, if my, I’m, I’m sorry, if my wife was like, “Last night I could barely breathe and I was having heart trouble,” I’d be like, it’s like urgent care, something, let’s just go, like, check it out, I don’t know.
Well, well, he called the ambulance, that was the next day, unresponsive in the bathroom, yeah, that was the next day, bro. I thought he called him and then he, they got there, and the next morning, yeah, yeah, but she didn’t tell him until the next morning. No, she told him at night, she told him that night, and, and then he was like, yeah, yeah, what the [bleep], the other part is just sleep it off, the other part is, the other part is, is that, okay, so an important fact to, to know too is that prior to this, like a week or so earlier, she was in Puerto Rico filming the movie The Caller, she was fired from the movie.
Oh, [bleep]. Cited as creative differences. No, she’s like, I’m not daing that, of which all three of them were there, the mom, the husband, and her, and all in Puerto Rico, all in Puerto Rico, they flew back, she said she wasn’t feeling well, so that was the start of not feeling well. Okay, that make sense, that’s a three-day span, you said three or four days, like, like shitty T, some shitty street tacos, yeah, yeah, there’s no tacos in Puerto Rico. Maybe. Why not, there’s got to be a taco, speak spish, taco stands. How do you, you been to every part of Puerto Rico? [bleep] horing, walk the street, I’ve never heard of somebody going, “Damn, I could go for a Puerto Rican taco right now.” You heard that?
No, I can, I’m American, I can go for a [bleep], I don’t, I can go for a Spanish speak person taco. Okay, so the paramedics arrived at the home and found her unresponsive in the bathroom, they tried to revive her, there is a, a 911 call where it’s the mom calling, okay, saying, “She’s not moving, what do I do?” And she literally says, “What do I do?” And they say, “Give her CPR,” and then Monjack goes, “What do I do?” And they start saying, “Press on her chest at these intervals,” it’s all recorded, and he goes, and then he’s pressing, and then they go, “No, no, no, you’re, you’re doing it too slow, do it faster,” and that’s the 911 call.
Now, was she, this, like, was she, like, in the bathtub or something, or was she just on the floor? The floor of the bathroom, or in the bathroom, okay, she’s on the floor. Yeah, okay, yeah. The Los Angeles Fire Department dispatches a fire truck and an ambulance to the residence, the firefighters arrive first, try to revive her, she’s already dead, LAPD was notified of the incident, then the afternoon, LA enforcement officials and medical personnel conduct an initial investigation at the scene, collecting evidence and interviewing individuals present at the home, Murphy’s body is transported to the coroner’s office for an autopsy. Yeah, good, I was like, get to the, I need to like find.
News, news starts spreading, gets all over the entertainment world, everyone, family, friends, fans, people start tributes, the whole thing, you know, they’re out, they’re outside the house, [bleep] candles and [bleep]. Yes, exactly. Speculation began that day about the circumstances around her death, because, a, she was so young, yeah, 32, she was, she lost so much weight, all at the end, oh, so there were like something been like, maybe it’s like this could have, yeah, were the signs, yeah, of something. Happ, investigation continued as the day unfold, the full extent of Berney Murphy’s final moments remains shrouded in mystery, and still to this day we don’t know, exact, did they not release the autopsy results?
Here’s the autopsy, yeah, oh they did, really, so okay, good stuff. So an autopsy unveiled acute pneumonia as her cause of death, she did say she had trouble breathing the night before, pneumonia just means that there’s liquid in your lungs, right? Pneumonia, compounded, this is what it says, compounded by iron deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication, so they won’t tell you what type of drugs, this multiple drug, we’re to get to it, okay, good. So her autopsy revealed the presence of multiple prescription drugs in her system at the time of death, these drugs included the following: hydrocodine, oh, okay, wow, which is a narcotic pain reliever used to treat moderate to severe pain, it’s what they call an opioid, mean it’s Dy AAP, which acetamin, which is like Tylenol, yeah, it’s just a, it’s a nerve, it’s a, it’s a neural blocker, in essence, it blocks the pain receptors.
Do chlorop fenamin, it’s an antihistamine used to relieve allergies or things, of you’re getting a cold, it’s like zerk, yep. And then something called an L Meta, Meta here, uh, an L metham [bleep] it, yeah, I’ll read it, uh, oh, El methampetamine, okay, so that’s, and so there’s an, there’s an explanation of it, it’s meth, methamphetamine, it’s meth, yeah, it’s methamphetamine, it’s an amphetamine, meth, okay. Inf phetamine is super hyper stimulant, upper. So it’s important to note, as I put at the bottom of this note here, it’s important to note that the presence of these drugs does not indicate that it was misused or abused, but these were prescribed to her, because all of these are prescription.
Oh, so she was being subscribed. They prescribe math? Well, they using, no, hydrocodine, you can get, yeah, as a, as a prescri, a prescription, maybe this type of for pain, usually, or something like that, right? Okay, so it’s like, here’s, here’s a good example, like, you know, obviously they prescribing an amphetamine, T, like ADHD medicine, that’s an amphetamine, like, so like, yeah, so like Aderall is, in essence it’s legal speed, legal, like legal, cu in the autopsy it stated that these were found to be at therapeutic levels, consistent prescription. Well, now, do they, I wonder if they maybe, like, what if she like had, like, a glass of wine, but it wasn’t enough to show up on a tox panel?
They did say that. If you mixed iron deficiency anema, anemia, yeah, so like her, okay, right, and she had pneumonia, ponia, and hydrocodine, cin, is that how you say, Hy, hydrod, hydrocodone, codone, yeah, and these, the other, you know what I mean, you mix them all together, and then all of a sudden you have, that makes sense. I mean, because if your lung, your lungs are already filled with fluid, so you’re having a hard time breathing, you, you had a, you had a downer, who, it’s just like burn, it’s like making your [bleep] like operate slower, you already have [bleep], you’re already anemic, so like you’re weak, you’re like [bleep].
And I just checked, one of the side, or has a bunch of side effects, hydrodon, but so here’s some of them, nausea, so she, she said she, you know, she was feeling nauseous, but then respiratory depression, so in higher doses, or in, or in sensitive individuals, that it can affect your breathing. Mhm. Yeah, so those are the two main ones related to this. Oh, so maybe, maybe this is like a, just like, and then the potentiality of just being a tragic accent. I mean, why would she want some [bleep], iron supplements, like give her some like steak because of the anemia. No, well, she, it was iron deficient.
I said, put her on some iron supplements. I know, but like, if you’re trying to keep the, keep the weight down, iron’s not going to make you fat. I know, right, but doesn’t anemia, isn’t that going of, no, no, no, you’re thinking, no, here, I’ll me, I’ll give the, I’ll give, I’ll give you the definition of, of anemia, and this is, you had mentioned actually at the beginning of this episode where you said her eyes, so, m, is that a symptom of anemia? Oh, they sh, the bags. Yeah, well, I think it’s like iron deficiency thing, yeah, which is anemia. Yes. So anemia, anemia is the, the actual, it just means lack of blood, so it’s a condition in which blood doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells in hemoglobin to carry oxygen through the body, okay, so it’s like, you literally aren’t, your body is not getting, not getting enough oxygen, so it’s your, all of your muscles and everything kind of runs off oxygen, and like you get super fatigued, so that doesn’t really have anything to do with, and if you get anem, if you’re, if you’re anemic, very easy to get sick, like you’re [bleep], very lethargic, you lose a lot of your color, like you get very, pain.
What causes it? This can happen if, uh, the body doesn’t make enough hemoglobin, or the red, or enough red blood cells, um, bleeding causes anemia, obviously, that’s yeah, so that’s kind of the two main, main, or tak a bunch of drugs, I don’t know, maybe, yeah, it’s like, you know, lack of oxygen can make you feel tired or weak, also have short ness of breath, dizziness, headaches, irregular heartbeat, all bad things, that coupled with pneumonia, coupled with a [bleep] opiate, like they, like, yeah, it’s like a [bleep] Bad News Bears. So there was a video of one of the police investigators, or whatever, and they were going through the apartment, or the condo, or the whatever, the house, house, house in the Hollywood Hills, like a [bleep] apartment, and it was strangely like, um, rat packy, does that make sense, just [bleep] everywhere.
Oh, oh, likey, like bottles and thises and dots and books and boxes, and well, some people are just, some people are just [bleep] dirty [bleep], I don’t know, you got that much money, I’m getting a cleaning person. I didn’t know if that was relevant, me and my wife just clean the house today, and it was like, my wife goes to this place, a [bleep] [bleep] hole, like it wasn’t that bad, but it needed to be clean, yeah, I just didn’t know if that was relevant, but it just was weird when I saw the video, was like, oh, it doesn’t look like a sb’s house. No, but maybe it’s an, may, maybe it’s an indicator of, you know, she wasn’t taking care of herself, they’re not taking care of their, like, her husband’s kind of like, like, you know, maybe this the, a, of lack of caring.
I mean, you saw the photo, and he’s not taking care of himself. Oh no, no, I mean, you know, I’m just saying, part of this, and I put this in here, which is the will. Oh, the will came out, the will came out a few days, first thing, that’s the first thing they’re going to look at, motive. So obviously, a will is a legal document outlining the distribution of assets after somebody’s death, and it contains some notable details, one significant aspect was that all of her assets were bequeathed to her mother. Ooh, Sharon. I mean, granted, single mom, rais, it, that’s okay, and she’s, it’s, you know, she doesn’t have kids.
It excluded anything for the husband. He [bleep] nothing, not a drop. Interesting, nothing. Maybe, maybe she, maybe, maybe like, I wish we knew if there was an amendment to, you know, cuz some people have multiple wills and they can change it, yeah, but obviously they don’t have to legally disp, right, there would no way we’d ever know, you just know the, the final version, and of course that’s all, you’re not obligated to like file a different one, and like they can see it was changed, it doesn’t, nothing like that, I don’t know, that’s interesting. Your wife died, no, if you died, no wait, if your wife died and it went, I have life insurance, it’s like it’s all going to her already.
No, no, no, hear me out, hear me out, okay, all of a sudden podcast takes off big time, like big, big time, it’s already taken off, but big time, Big Time, M millionaire now, yeah, Jets, Britney Murphy, St Murphy, [bleep] sea level. No, well, I mean DC, I mean she’s not rich rich, but she’s richer than us, I, she’s exactly, I think her number was around 5 million, that’s, I would love to have that, that’d be great, that’ be super happy, but she’s not, like, yeah, but then would you find it weird that she didn’t leave anything for you? Oh, I would find it weird, yeah, I’d be like, what, like leave it to like her mom, right, I’m like, why is she living with us then if she’s going to get everything, [bleep], put, put her in her own spot.
So when the will came out, it be, it like fueled the fire of, like, what the [bleep], like, what’s going on, but also, like, looking at the documentary and some of the stuff about the guy, like he was very like shady, shady, like talking down to her, or like humiliating her, that kind of [bleep], so maybe she just did the will on the Lolo, as like a [bleep] you, maybe she just was unhappy, yeah, it’s totally possible that she was like, I mean, that’s the, that’s the simple answer, my mom had my back from the beginning, like, [bleep] you, she, we moved to LA from wherever the [bleep] I was from.
So a couple things that are very strange that happened afterwards, and I want you to actually look it up because I want you to see the photos. So afterwards, after she died, di, and she had a funeral and that sort of thing, the husband and the mom did a photo shoot. Oh, I saw, I saw those pictur, I thought, when I first saw the pictures, I thought I was like, I’m like, Bray Murphy, look like that before she died, but it was the mom, this is it, this is was the grieving message photo shoot, why are they like locking hands like that? Yeah, he’s like behind her, like kind of likeing her, a hug, it looks like a really, a weird prom, weird, like a high school reunion, like PR, like remake, and obviously we’re going to put all of these on Patreon, for sure, because there’s very, this is what really turned it into a big conspiracy, like her hand, like, so there’s another one, kind, put these photos out, but, but also it’s like, who does a photo shoot, photo, photo grieving, okay, okay, good.
Yeah, and then he, his face is literally, he’s always, he’s trying to model pos, smoldering, like, yeah, he’s smold, he’s doing a smolder, he’s doing, he’s doing a hard smolder right there. Yeah, so there’s another one, there’s another one, there’s, they’re kind of side by side, but she’s got the hand on, yeah, that’s what was going about to say, like, so she’s got her hand on, on like his, his belly or whatever, like, but that’s kind of what you see, I don’t know, your husband and your wife do like that kind of pos, toally. I’m just going to say, if, if, like, if my, if my wife’s mom tried to do some [bleep] like this, I’d be like, over my [bleep] dead body, there was not, in a million years will I ever do this with you.
So then it got even weirder, because they remained, there’s another one, holding hands too, oh, this is sketch, and look, look at his deep smolder, like, look at this guy, and look at her, is this her trying to be sad face? So weird, okay, wow, this just set it off, these are super sketchy, yeah, this is the sketchiest [bleep] I’ve ever seen. So this is another, another photo shoot, I mean, unless they did it the same day, I don’t know, but they’re like wearing different outfits, couple later, couple months later, so they did a whole another photo shoot, but why use this picture, and that’s the worst picture of Britney Murphy, like, why would you put that picture.
D, this is, you see this one? Yeah, and that’s her, right? Yeah, it’s like the worst picture of her, she’s like, insanity, yeah, this is, okay, there’s something off, there’s something wrong, okay. So, okay, back to motive. So it got, it got even weirder because then they remained living together for an extended period of time, the mom and Simon. Dude, it’s like, of course, he’s like, well, she got all the cash, right, like, you, mother, like, you know, hang out, I’ll, I’ll cook, like, no one’s cleaning, so we’re good on that, like. So then things got even weirder, so she died in 2009, December of 2009, okay, yeah.
So literally one month later, in January, he said he was getting tests because he felt unwell, oh, maybe it’s like something. Then in May, right, paramedics were called, and at 9:20 p.m. they found him unresponsive, and he died, and his corner report was pneumonia and severe anemia. Oh my God, wow, he was buried next to Britney Murphy at the cemetery. So he died five months later from the same exact things, anemia and pneumonia. Okay, so following Murphy’s demise, a plethora of conspiracy theories emerged, insinuating foul play or different types of clandestine activities, some conjectured MJ’s involvement in her demise, while others alluded to potential pharmaceutical entanglements, despite official findings attributing her death to natural causes, conspiracy theorists persist to scrutinize the narrative, citing inconsistencies and unanswered queries.
I mean, I mean it’s just, what are the statistical chances of, like, they both anemia and pneumonia? Yes, I mean, the only thing that would make sense is if maybe they’re being exposed to some sort of weird type of, like, black mold or something in the home, but like, how, the mom would also need to be affected, then, then it would make sense, because everyone who’s living in this particular space. I thought about that too, and, and I thought about the same thing, but then about the mom, why didn’t she get sick at all? Yeah, she’s poisoning them. Yeah, bro, it’s a pretty clear cut thing, it’s a clear cut, we solved it.
Now, here, here’s pro, why, why would I, I have, okay, we’ll get, we, we’re not there, we’re not there, we’re not there, yeah, we’re not there, I’ve already formulated a theory. Yeah, so it does, you know, I mean, wait, so going back to his, um, autopsy report, did they find also drugs? Same, in the same drugs, cuz we know they had the same medical condition, so pneumonia and anemia, but I wonder if he was taking the same drugs, or if they found the same drugs, or similar drugs, or yeah, some sort of suppressant, some sort of upper, that’s weird, it’s like upper and downer. Yeah, like, then, how, [bleep], uh, ODB died, he was like doing [bleep] uppers and downers, like he was doing like Codine and like Coke, and like, like his body was like, m, like [bleep].
Isn’t that how Michael Jackson died too? No, Michael Jackson died of [bleep] propal. Well, he was taking like a whole bunch of upward and downers every day, doct [bleep], like OD him. So it was found that in the, in the system of Simon mjac, he had drugs such as hydrocodine, acetamin, and other sedatives. No way. Okay, I mean, I mean, come on, who, who are the cops on this case, Jesus Christ, like, in only in LA, like, no idea what they’re doing. This fine, they’re like the exact same, everything is happening, no coincidence, you got to be able to prove it with beyond a reasonable doubt.
I mean, I, where’s the doubt, where’s the doubt, there’s no doubt, the same [bleep], very weird. Huh, I know, it’s like, and the mom’s like, I have no idea what are you talking about. So here are some of the theories, and we’ll, we’ll, we, yeah, let’s go over some of the theories, and then, of course, as we do, we’ll go to the end and we’ll see if we like any of them, if where we sit on, we’ll see, we’ll decide what’s true. So some believe that Britney Murphy was murdered, yes, either by a person or a group with motives ranging from jealousy to financial gain, this theory often points to the circumstances surrounding her death as suspicious, including the suddenness of her decline in health, which was just like a month or two, and her weight loss, and etc, and the presence of prescription drugs in her system.
So essentially this would be the Simon killed her, or her mom, or her mom killed her, or somebody else. Well, I mean, I don’t really see a motive for anybody else, and the moto, the moto for murder is really, like, it’s that, I mean, you have, well, it’s, you have the two main people, the two main suspects are in the house, yeah, they always go to the husband first, and then they go to who gains money, right? So both of those [bleep] live with her, mhm, so there’s a literally, in in any murder, 99% chance is one of those [bleep], and I don’t really see, based on anything I watched or read or listened to, I don’t really see anybody, motive for another, another person, yeah, like, I’m mad at Britney Murphy, and so I’m, I’m going to kill her, the slow death her, it’d be different if she was attacked or mugged and like stabbed on the street, they’re not going to, I’m going to poison her food in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico taco, they’re like, wait, you have tacos here, like, of course we do, enjoy, cuz we’re Mexican, we speak Spanish, don’t we? Uh, another theory is toxic mold exposure, talked about, I like, so that theory suggests that toxic mold was in their home and played the role in the death, because also M Jack died similar months later in the same home. I mean, that would make sense, exact same symptoms, claim the mold caus respiratory issues that ultimately led to, I mean, look, I wonder, very reasonable, wouldn’t that be able to, wouldn’t you be able to find, but also wouldn’t I wonder, can’t you find that in an autopsy, like, some, some sort of pressence of, of, I don’t know, I think if you, if you were to check, if you were to, for sure, you can find it in the house, yeah, if you were to check their lungs, you should be able to find spores, yeah, but like, obviously, like if in that’s a case, like, they would be able to, to do a real quick scan, cuz one, those like, I’ve had M people come to my house for like a leak, and [bleep], so they come, they have like moisture [bleep] detection things, and like they literally can, they scan all the [bleep], they’re like, okay, well, here’s the highest, and they’d be able to check, they could like [bleep] open up that spot, like, ohing, boom.

No one did that, nobody did that, and he’s like got the, the mold equipment, okay, but let’s just say you’re a cold case guy, so you’re a detective, but you’re the lowly, you’re the one who’s got to like do the, you’re like in the, the, you know what I mean, in the archives, yeah, you’re doing the real [bleep], yeah, wouldn’t the first thing you do is go be like, let’s check the mold thing out, yeah, let’s like check the walls, let’s go check the house out. I wonder if they can do that, cuz maybe it was renovated. No, I’m just saying, like, are they allowed to go in there and check for mold?
Why not, it’s still her mom’s house. Hey mom, your daughter died and your son-in-law died, can I check your house? That’s right, you might die, and then if she denies, then it’s like, you would think that would have been done, that’s my only thing on it, unless they renovated it and they took out like a whole part, part of the house, and they sold it, and they can’t, you know what I mean, or, and, and, and, the, the evidence is gone, or if they, it’s like, know somebody happened to walk up while they were sleeping, little, little, little, little mold. So some conspiracy theorists believe that, that Britney Murphy’s death was part of a larger government coverup, this is probably the only time I won’t agree with that, the one time I’m like no, and the theory behind it is that they, sleeper, sleep, no, they knew that she knew too much about the secrets, and that she was targeted for her political beliefs, and she was outspoken about the feminine rights, and that sort of thing, yeah, I’m sorry, maybe she’s a little, a little too non- aist for that to make a difference.
There are also theories that pharmaceutical companies were involved in her death, these theories pose that Murphy may have been a victim of overmedication, or she was targeted by pH ceutical companies about her outspokenness against certain medications, so she was basic, so yeah, I know, confusing, right? Yeah, like, why are you taking them, you’re like, you shouldn’t do this, only I should. But one of the biggest conspiracies exist is that Simon kill her. See, I just don’t, Simon, maybe, like, Simon o, maybe Simon kzer money, Simon kzer, sure, but he dies the same way, no, but that’s, that’s my thing, maybe Simon kills her, he’s like [bleep], he’s like [bleep] no cash, and then I see, well, I have, I have a whole, yeah, whole timeline created, the whole story, I have manifested an entire story of my mind, and then the last one is pretty, pretty ridiculous, which is just the orchestrated by powerful, powerful figures in the entertainment industry that just didn’t want her, you know.
That’s not ridiculous. Well, I mean, there’s no reason, what’s, what is she doing? I just don’t think she was making that big of a splash, yeah, maybe she like a jeanclaude vanam bromcom, I mean, she wasn’t exactly, what you said, sport, she, she’s not really like big time, like creditable, not creditable, different if it was like she didn’t have the clout to like, yeah, it’s not like they’re like, we got to take this. Britney Murphy out, it’s like Merl Street’s like, uh, there is just [bleep] problems going on in Hollywood, and everyone’s like, “Oh [bleep], take her, take her [bleep], K, [bleep], shut her up.” Yeah, yeah, so that’s, uh, that’s the death of Britney Murphy.
And I mean, Simon side, side, side Simon, we started, I thought it was just Britney, but then, you know, no, there’s a double murder, or double death, double death, yeah, could be, could be murder. I just, so, if, if it wasn’t anemia and pneumonia for two people dying in the same house, I would be like, this is just, she died, all right, here me now, I’m a little bit, what if he would have died, not of that, that would have just, it would have been, yeah, it have been, whatever, deal, I wouldn’t have, it’s a big deal, but I just say, I don’t think we’d be doing the podcast.
The coincidence of it is just too much, it’s too much, yeah, and then the photos, yeah, no, that’s the photos is, is like the most incriminating thing in my mind, it would be like you paid someone to, this is exactly how it would be, this is exactly how it would be, you ready, this, exactly, we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for those photos, honestly. No, no, here’s an example, okay, Jorge dies tomorrow of dissenter, okay, Oregon Trail, yeah, like an old like a weird, no, it’s a very specific thing, diarrhea blood, di, di, six months later, after Sean and I do some weird [bleep] Photoshop of, using each, my hand, my hands, on like Eric’s thigh, 1996 Glamour Shots, I know, lit, wearing matching outfits, Sean dies of dissenter, and then Eric inherits the podcast.
Well, what happened was, Jorge left his share to me, and Eric’s like, “I’m not going to be, I’m not going to be the third man out here,” honestly, yeah, it would be like if, I, if I left the my shares to you, and then he dies, it’s such a specific thing to, it’s not like I had a heart attack, and it’s like a generalized, I got cancer, quote unquote, yeah, it’s anemia, pneumonia, and the same drugs, and same drugs in the system, in the system, yeah. Tell, I’ve got, I’ve got it, I think SE, I’m, I’m pretty sure I solved this, just hear me out, hear me out, okay, this is Sean’s first, okay, so here, here’s what I think happened, yeah.
I think that at some point in time Simon MJ was like, I’m not cutting it as a writer, well, he’s, well, I think he knew that from the jump, from Jump Street, I think he was like, I barely speak English, like writing screenplays is not my forte, and he’s like, I’m pretty sure Britney is going to realize that she shouldn’t be with me, and probably dump me, and so I think at some point in time he was like, [bleep], you know, this is going to happen, and their mom was living with them, I think there was one night, maybe Britney’s like working, or she’s like tired, I think I don’t attribute the weight loss thing to that, I think she’s just trying to be Hollywood, that, or stress, and like, you know, the be hot, so maybe she’s just like stressed, trying, lose late right now, you know, yeah, and so, and so Simon starts commiserating with the mom, you know, they’re drinking wine, you know, there, sparks, yeah, like tension.
So I’m pretty much, I’m pretty, here’s my theory, that Simon and the mom had an affair. Wof. So then I think they made it, but, by the way, have you seen the photos? No offense to the mom, but going from Britney to the mom, I mean, Jesus Christ, it’s like, I mean, it’s, I, I can’t even think of a comparable thing, it’s like, it’s like going from, I don’t, let’s like imagine, like, Tom Brady, like, when after he divorced Jazelle, like just like, like I’m not saying britty Murph, like Gelle, I’m just saying, like, it’s such a drop. Yeah, but, well, it’s also, also, I mean, it’s an age difference, all the things, no, but the thing is, like, Simon and the mom look like they could be a couple.
Oh yeah, like if you look at that photo, like more equi looking, like they look like a match, dude, they look like a fit, they actually look, they look the same age, they look like a fit, yeah, okay, so it actually makes more sense, like I saying, like, they look like a fit, so while it may have been a downgrade, he was already UPG, he was, well, he was playing out of his league in the first, and then he’s went into the same league, like, sweet, so he, he went pro, and then he’s like, I can’t, yeah, like, yeah, heck stri, like, so then, so I think they strike, and I, I think that he was like, look, I want to be together, but we’re both, you know, being held back, we don’t have, we’re, you know, tied to Britney for this financial thing, and you know, if she finds out about this, we’re both going to get nothing, and so I, I think they, they think they conspired to kill her, I think Simon was the one who did it.
So, out, so I think Simon was, is there a way that you do that, right? That was my next question. I think there was some, I mean, I think just too much of it, I think too much of the stuff just up, or, yeah, just up and like, oh, here, here babe, like, you know, maybe you, I can’t imagine like all these people are really D, you’re so Holly, would like give me the thing that I’m supposed to do, like, I’m too busy, or like I don’t know, maybe was, they were with her all times, yeah, so I think that they were, even on shoot, they were her people, remember, they were in Puerto Rico with pu Ric to the just Puerto Rico.
He’s saying, like, they were, he’s almost saying, like, he me, that’s pretty, that’s not, that’s not in the continental US, bro, that’s like out of the continental US, it’s a province, it’s a territory, to go for. No, the continental US, so it’s not part of it, it’s not attached, I’m agreeing with you, yeah, yeah, thank you shooter, so you fine, whatever, he, he, he tried to, he tried to derail you, keep going, tried to der, that was derailing him. I mean, this is say, I, they’re going to, I’m going to be a guest [bleep] expert witness on Cold Case Files next, like, trust, I know what I’m [bleep] talking about.
So then, however, he does it, I don’t know exactly how he does it, so then he’s thinking that he’s going to get the money, and then he’ll be with the mom, he’ll be like happily ever after, so she dies, mom gets the money in the will, then the mom, like, oh, this a shock, I think the mom’s were like, “What the [bleep]?” Yeah, even W Jack, or, I think Simon’s like, “Whoo!” Yeah, expect this. Okay, got, so then I think it was like two different things happen. I think Simon’s like, “Oh [bleep], well, I better kiss ass to the mom so she doesn’t [bleep] di me and leave me with nothing,” so he’s, he’s probably in kiss ass mode, and I think her, I think the mom is like, “[bleep], he’s going to be pissed I was a part of this, he can expose me for being a part of this, I got to get rid of him,” so then the mom, knowing how he did the thing with Britney because they conspired to, does the same thing to him, but he’s none the wiser, CU he’s like, “Don’t leave me, let’s take some pictures, let’s take some glam shots that we love her,” wo, “Let me smolder for you, see, I can still be hot, love me,” and she’s like, “I got to get him out of here, he’s going to [bleep] expose me cuz he knows the truth that I was involved,” kills him off the same way, and then she’s in the [bleep] dirty house by herself.
Man, tell me I’m wrong with 5 million, 5 million, she’s a double murderer. Well, no, I don’t think she, oh, oh, I sorry, sorry, sorry, she, he killed her, Britney, she killed him, but she was involved in it, and I think she knew, she knew she do it, the conspiracy went too far, and so by the, but then when she got the money, cuz she was expecting him to get the money, so they would have been like, “Oh [bleep], ride in the sunset,” but then now she’s like, “Oh [bleep], now she is like, “Okay, if he thinks he’s going to get the money, now I have the money, maybe he’ll be pissed, expos me for being a part of this,” cuz you know [bleep] people do crazy [bleep] when they’re like get [bleep] out of money, I don’t know, that’s, that’s my theory.
It’s pretty good. It’s not bad. It’s not bad, right? Bad at all. It’s not bad. So you don’t think mold? I mean, maybe, that’s what I’m saying, maybe mold could have been like a little, I didn’t mean to jump a little, well, no, no, going to go down, go, okay, so I my theory is mold, and I almost switched here with Sean, cuz it was pretty convin, like when I was formulating this, I’m like, freaking, I convinced myself, like hell yeah, this is legit, but I did, I did have a customer that did mold remediation, kind of like what you were talking about, so I do, I did a little bit the ders of it, I did a little bit of research on it to help him, like, do the marketing and all that [bleep], but so I know that it can cause anemia, and of course, respiratory issues, and [bleep] like that, and so I would love to believe the conspiracy side of it, but I think it’s just the, the, the fact, oh, and, and, another thing is that it doesn’t affect everybody the same, so just because the mom’s living there, or what if it was just in their bedroom, or that’s another thing, so the mom’s like in the basement or something.
And it’s like just in the bedroom, and then so it’s affecting them, you know, and not mom, I could, or it could be the other thing, like I was saying, it doesn’t affect everybody the same because it, it has to do with your immune system, or everyone’s like, you know, it’s like, “I’m allergic to cats, but like ex, you’re not,” so, like, I’m like, I can’t breathe, like it’s the problem. And so, if she, in my notes I didn’t bring it up, but she lived there for six years, just so you know, the mom did, Britney, oh, in that house, in house about, oh, she lived there, liv there, the whole time, mom did.
Mom did. So, so Britney lived there for six years, there was no issues until the last [bleep] week, well, well, also, by the way, it wouldn’t, it wouldn’t take six years, black mole, if it was like one, like very T, and it also depends how much got, at the end, exactly, that’s what it, maybe it just happened at towards the end, but then when you add in the hydrocodone, oh yeah, and, and that’s a whole respiratory suppression, or whatever we saw is one of the side effects, I think that’s, that’s, that’s it right there. It’s not a bad theory, I still think I’m right. That’s great theory, but, but you know, the only thing that doesn’t make sense for, for my theory, isck pictures, those pictures are weird, so weird, it’s so weird, they have multiple outfits, they switched outfits, and it could just be, you know, people are weird, as bad PR, bad PR agency, like, “Oh, pose here, we’re going to get you out there, we got to, you know, we got to clean up her image,” it’s for her, and blah, blah, blah, but the thing is, like, they don’t even look sad, it’s, they’re like the word tact list, T, yeah, that’s the word, right?
Tactless, yeah. Abs, yeah, it’s just like no empathy, like, like there’s not, they don’t even look like, literally, there’s not even like a frown. Yeah, and the reason, you know, Simon stayed living there because [bleep] had nowhere to go, had nothing, he had no, that’s true, he had nothing, he had, keep, he could only keep the lie going for so long, it’s true, okay. I got mine, you ready? Yeah, uh, I’m more with Sean. Oh, all right, my man. Yeah, I think she was killed, but do you think in the same, so who murdered her? I figure, can’t figure out if it was the mom or the dad, that’s my only problem.
You mean the husband? Yes, sorry, the husband, or the, the mom. Okay, and what’s the motive? Why? Money. Okay, I just, I can’t see, I don’t know though, sit, and then it backfired later cuz he died again, like maybe he accidentally just fu himself, like [bleep] [bleep] I got into this myself, I don’t know, like that part is a little bit fuzzy to me, you know, but they’re so weird, I do think they were sleeping together. Oh, the mom and the, yeah, maybe later. Yeah, oh, later, yeah, I could, you know what I mean, you said before, but it could be later, where there, where he’s like, [bleep], she’s got the money, I better [bleep], and, and then they’re like, “Oh, maybe like, we got to take these photos, people are going to think it’s weird if I’m, we’re still living together,” so releas the photos, it’s just, we, “We’re mourning together,” but then he’s like, and she’s like, weir, here’s, here’s where I don’t, I don’t buy, right, one, any man, any husband would get her help, oh, for sure, she was sick, weak before, oh dude, in Puerto Rico, weeks, days, she, daysia, pneumonia can work very fast, I know, but no, but she like, I think after the Puerto Rico thing, I would have been like, “Let’s just, let’s just go talk to somebody, let’s just go get like a little look, something, something,” yeah, then, on top of it, so then she dies, mhm, as the guy, you’re not going to check if there’s mold in your own house?
Yeah, well, D, well, trust me, well, my thing is like, check, in this situation, if this happened, I, I don’t want to say it, I would literally, I would be like calling the cops, like, what, give me the, where’s the doctors, what [bleep] happened, find out what [bleep] happened, so I, I’m just saying like you would have checked out everything as the husband, you know what I mean, and so then 6 months later he dies of the same exact thing, it’s just, it’s just too big of a quin, too much, yeah, so I don’t know what happened, but I think it is here, the is a bonafide conspiracy.
I think so too. I hear what you’re saying and I like it, but, but here’s the, my side, my explanation of that, because I’m on the other side, and the, I think J is doing a plug for his client if you want. [Laughter] Thee, go, no, no, so pneumonia can work really fast, so in those three days, and also, also it, you don’t really, like, you don’t really know that you have pneumonia, like my mom has had pneumonia twice, dude, died of the same exact thing with the same drugs though, five months later, I’m saying for her, you’re saying that, like, she was complaining for a while.
First of all, it’s only 3 days, second of all, you don’t really know you have pneumonia, like, it’s not something that, problema, just have trouble breathing and you’re like coughing, maybe, or whatever, right, smoke new, very sick, you, you look like you have flu, that’s it, you know, I smoke Sean’s American Spirits, and I like got like get congested, I had to poop, and then like I can’t breathe, I get it, I get it, I get it, but, but nothing explains the coincidence of dying of the same thing with the same drugs, the same drugs in their system, in the autopsy report, well, yes, yes, something does, mold, and they both, like, s, you don’t take, you don’t take hydrocodone for mold.
No, I’m saying that explains the pneumonia, or the, the, the, you know, the anemia, and then the drugs just compounded the [bleep] situation, and then they died, he didn’t learn from it. I know, right, he’s like walking in, he’s like, “Oh [bleep], she left her H cro on here, let me take the exact same,” do, like, hyro one, hydrocon perfect. There is, there is another, the, I don’t know, that don’t, there is another theory though that he committed suicide in the same way. Oh, just like, “I’ll be closer to you.” How do, how do you commit suicide, the, how do you give yourself pneumonia, give me pneumonia, [bleep], I don’t, me, one thing’s for sure, it’s not clearcut, like it’s not black and white here.
Can I, can I ask you a question, now this is, this is about this, but maybe a little bit general too, which is, do you believe in coincidences? I believe, in a, to a certain extent, yes, I do, I believe that there’s a certain extent that things can be coincidental, otherwise it be suspect, yeah, in this case there’s too many, there’s too many specifics, if, like, him, let’s say both dying with pneumonia, fine, but both dying pneumonia and both having the same, same drugs in their system, and the anemia, and I me, did they meet at anemia anonymous, I don’t know, is there a thing?
