The Moon Debate: Part Two
In part two of their moon landing debate, the guys pick up at questions six through ten and then trade the facts for and against a real Apollo program. They start with the biggest argument for it being real: how do you keep roughly 400,000 people quiet for a decade with no credible whistleblower? Their answer leans on compartmentalization, where each worker owns one hyper-specialized task and only a handful at the top see the full mission, plus the intense Cold War fear of communism that they argue turned secrecy into a patriotic united front.
From there they work through the skeptic checklist. The Soviets never exposed a hoax, the hosts argue, either because they could not prove one or because nobody would have believed the Russians anyway. They poke at the 800-plus pounds of returned lunar rocks and the idea of “low gravity rocks,” question whether the retroreflectors on the moon prove a manned landing or just an unmanned probe, and wonder how 1960s tech tracked the spacecraft in real time with no GPS. Their recurring theme is that science is fluid and the government lies, so a physical rock still comes down to an expert’s word.
On the pro side they stack six successful landings, orbiter photos of the landing sites, hundreds of thousands of live launch witnesses, and Nixon’s pre-written speech in case the astronauts died. Against it, they hammer the lost telemetry data and NASA’s roughly 240 to 250 billion dollars in funding from 1970 to 2000 with little to show, plus evasive astronaut interviews like the Buzz Aldrin punch and refusals to swear on a Bible.
The hosts land split. One insists all six landings were faked because no other country has ever put people on the moon and the tech was conveniently “lost.” The others float a middle theory: the first landing was staged as a Cold War win under deadline pressure, a backup studio film in Nevada that leaked, and the later missions were real once they cracked getting past the Van Allen belt. They agree on one prediction, that a live-streamed, camera-ready moon landing is coming within a few years and will quietly solidify the story.

Hey guys, welcome back to the Conspiracy Podcast. The Moon Debate Part Two. So yeah, Eric, the big R. I don’t care. I mean, if you look at the actual definition, it means it’s just he’s to suppress a thing, and so his mind is being suppressed by his lack of.
If you guys didn’t know, we did a part one on the moon debates. Part two, even the beginning, it’s like part two, like this is part one obviously. So go back, listen to part one, and actually what I would suggest is you go back to our original moon episode. Watch it. But a little disclaimer, the quality sucks. Yeah, it was our first episode ever released. So go back, listen to it, but with a little girl. You know how like we talk over each other now? Imagine that way worse. And imagine us with 1960s NASA technology recording the episode. Literally.
So we went over the top five questions in regards to the moon landing. Was it real? Was it fake? It was the flag. The flag, did it then? Was the flag moving was number two. The stars. Photos. The stars. The stars. Shadows. Shadows. And then Van Allen belt. And then technology. Technology. That’s right. So we have another five here.
So we’re going to dive back in, picking up at now the second top five, number six through 10. And as a reminder, our goal is to fill the quote unquote space void with as much information as we can, and then we can decide if this is actually a conspiracy or if this is the internet trolls looking for another thing to complain about. Yeah, that’s right.
So if the moon landing was faked, how did 400,000 people who were working on this project for almost a decade keep it secret without a single credible whistleblower? Okay. And I feel like we have done a couple episodes and Sean brought up great points in these episodes which was about compartmentalism. Do you remember those? We were talking about MK Ultra, I think, and a bunch of things. And so I would assume that would be the only plausible way that that could be pulled off.
Dude, for sure. I think there’s a legitimate effort to do this. I think that that was like the goal. But as we’ve seen throughout history, specifically the US government history, when you can’t get somewhere the right way, you kind of make some stuff up. You just kind of do a little weaveroo. No, but the question is how can all of them not know? Dude, are you kidding me? You know how easy that would be? Yeah. I mean, let me just be on the conspiratorial side on this one.
What if you told them all, all 400,000 people, that we were going to the moon? They would believe it. Well, they’re all working towards it. They’re all working towards it. And then at the end, some boss man says, “Sean, we can’t make it. We’re not going to make it.” Well, here’s what it actually is. It’s like, look, everyone has a specific job they’re doing. 400,000 people. My job is like this bolt that holds the shield out. I don’t even know what some of the people that work for me do sometimes. I pay them and hopefully they’re doing work. Hopefully it makes me more money than I’m paying them.
So everyone has these hyper specialized roles. So not everyone is briefed on overall mission command. Your job is, “Okay, cool. I got the engines to work the way we want. Sweet.” And the guy’s like, “I got the seat belts to click correctly.” So then there’s probably 10 homies who run the divisions who all know, and they get together and they’re probably like, “We can’t do it.” And then the government’s like, “We don’t care. We have to do it. We got to beat Sputnik. We got to beat communism. This is about America.” They’re probably propaganding it.
And they’re like, “Okay, just tell everyone we’re good to go. Tell them we’re good. We can get to space. We know that. So we’ll just go to space.” So they actually take off. Yeah, we’ll go to space. But we’ll just do the old last minute U-turn. Now, to be on the other side though, I mean, we can’t keep a secret. No, but here’s the deal. There wasn’t social media back then. There wasn’t X. That’s true.
Both things could be true. You can go up in space. Everybody sees that. You can televise it. But the actual event filmed out. Exactly. The engineers aren’t on the moon. There’s no one to confirm. All they got to hear is one small step. So we’re here. Clearly we’re on the moon. As you can see from our video footage, we are clearly on the moon. There’s the only place we could possibly be. It’s definitely not Nevada. I am not in a pool right now. This is clearly the moon. Look at this flag. I planted this flag.
So I think it’s easier to cover up than we think it is, because obviously they launch the rocket, the rocket goes into space. And the rest is all radio. Everybody’s on, you’re not on FaceTime with them like, “Show me the moon.” So it’s easier. They’re just acting now. But wouldn’t there be little red flags that people would be? I mean, even Area 51 has defectors. So wouldn’t there be somebody who’s like, some mission control guy, a Bob Lazar guy? There’s got to be a Bob Lazar out there.
I think it was a little bit different back then because imagine being in the Olympics when Nazi Germany was in the Olympics. You’re like, if Jesse Owens was on the juice, are you really going to go out about it? Hell no, you’re not. You’re like, “Hell yeah, bro. Take more. Be faster.” So I think it was like a united front. Even if you knew, you’re like, “Screw Russia. We’re doing it.” This is for the better cause. Exactly. It’s us winning. It’s like the greatest good is for us. But they all take it to the grave.
I can see the astronauts like, dude, you’re a hero. You’re the first person killing the game. You’re never going to say anything. Yeah, lock me up. Put me in jail. I just feel like there’s a leak. You feel like there is, or there should have been, or there would have been. This is the number one argument for it being real. For it being real. That’s right. No, it’s true. The unification of a nation around a common goal, common enemy. I can get behind that.
Look at what happened in 9/11, bro. The Patriot Act passed with 100% vote, and that was the most criminal piece of legislation ever. I think Eric believes the Pentagon did not get hit by a plane. It did not. Look at the video. Anyway, in September we’re doing the 25th anniversary of 9/11. It’s going to be like five, six parts. It’s going to be massive. Get ready for dozens of hours.
All I’m saying is the people from the Pentagon, nobody said anything. Here’s the thing. Do you know how easy it is now for the government to be like, “Go ahead, say something.” Or just take them out. Have a heart attack tomorrow. Weird natural causes. He got shot in the face. Natural causes. They’re all sworn to secrecy. They have the highest secret clearance.
Are you that patriotic that you would? There needs to be a unifying event though. This is a unifying event. It’s not like on a Tuesday if someone did that. Hell no, I’m narcing. But that’s why I brought up being in the Olympics when the Nazis were there. If we were cheating, no one’s saying anything. This is another big unifying event. It’s us against the Russians. Who’s going to be supreme on Earth. 9/11, same thing. Everyone had an American flag.
Also we should do an episode on how extreme the scare of communism was. Dude, it was mad. Are you kidding me? You homies are getting arrested just for being like, for knowing you. “Hey, what were you doing with Jorge at Pinehurst Pub?” Because he one time saw a Reddit article about communism and the possibility of it being a bad guy. Guantanamo. That’s what I’m saying. Russia was like the bad guy. It was the boogeyman. And so it’s like, are you going to let us lose? You’re really going to narc out to our greatest enemy, and we’re going to be a communist country now? Hell no. You’re taking it to your grave.
Yeah, you won’t obviously if this was like 2017, just a regular Tuesday, they’re narcing. They’re like, “Who’s going to give me the most cash to tell you the truth?” And then they’re narking. But the extreme fear of communism and the Cold War leading to it. Oh dude, for sure. It was perfect timing. Hey, I didn’t think I was going to get a little tipped on that one. Come into the fold, my man. That’s one of the biggest ones, which is that it’s real.
So next question. Why didn’t the Soviet Union expose the US during the Cold War if it was a hoax? Dude, everyone would just believe it was propaganda. Even if they had evidence, they’re not going to believe the Russians. They don’t believe anything that they say. Of course, it’s automatic bull. Imagine if we were in the Iraq war and the Iraq government’s like, “Oh no.” You were like, “Screw you. Lie.”
What’s strange is that I read that after a decade of trying to get to the moon, the Russians gave up the entire project. They just gave up, and all they did was put a little tiny excerpt in one of the newspapers that says, “Congrats.” It’s at the end and it’s in Russian so you can’t even. And then that was it. Okay, well, at least something. I’ll take it.
So this argument is, if it was a scandal and/or a hoax, our enemy at the time, why didn’t they expose it? How would they know? They have KGB. The 007, the spies. Do you imagine how hard it is for a person born in Russia in the 60s to do an American accent? “Hello. My name is Bill. Tell me about space program.” You actually do a better Russian accent than you do a British accent. Stick to that one.
During the Cold War, the Soviet Union had every incentive to discredit the United States. They had their own space tracking systems. They could monitor Apollo missions independently. If there had been any evidence of deception, exposing it would have been a massive victory for the fact that they quote unquote lost the space race. Instead, the Soviets publicly acknowledged the success of Apollo 11. Their silence and even recognition of it suggests that they observed legitimate activity consistent with a real mission and a success of Americans landing on the moon.
This also seems like a shitty argument. Well, the opposition didn’t oppose it, so it’s got to be real. Like what? There are enemies. Of course they would want to expose it. But how can they expose it? They don’t know. You underestimate the KGB. I think you’ve watched too many Bond films, my man. You were like, “He’s got a belt that can literally hack the servers. It’s easy.”
So does anything hold water on this one? I mean, if they knew something, I’m sure they would have. 100%. So they just didn’t know. How would you know? They didn’t have the evidence to back it up. It’s also back to the technology. Even worse if they get caught in a lie. So I think that’s why. You guys also realize there was no internet. What are they going to do? Let me call you on the landline. I think they still had switchboard operators back in the 60s. It’s so speculative though. It’s actually kind of hard to believe that’s in the top 10.
Next question. How do you explain the lunar rocks brought back from the moon that had been independently verified by multiple space agencies? The Apollo missions returned over 800 pounds of lunar material which has been studied by scientists around the world, not just in the US. These rocks have unique compositions and characteristics that differ from earth rocks because they found evidence that they were formed in a low gravity or near zero gravity. Because we definitely know what low gravity rocks look like, the composition of low gravity rocks, because we have so much comparable data to compare it to. What the heck is a low gravity rock? It doesn’t even make any sense.
Independent analysis across multiple countries has consistently confirmed that they are of extraterrestrial origin. Some samples contain solar wind particles embedded in ways that can only occur without any atmosphere. Hey, have you ever heard of this wild thing? It’s super crazy, called an asteroid. Whoa. Those have never hit Earth and they’ve never got those rocks before. Ever. So you think all 900 pounds of rocks were scoured together, just rocks from asteroids? Dude, there’s no way to really confirm that. And I’m sorry, what science are you possibly using? Carbon dating and elements. Carbon dating is just telling how old something is.
I agree with that, Eric. I don’t know how to explain it, but there’s something about science. You should be able to be like, “Oh, this is gold. Oh, this is limestone rock.” Geologists would be able to debunk this, shouldn’t they? But this is also saying that we know every rock that could ever exist on Earth ever. We’re that smart. We know everything. There is no way. You’re saying the astronauts found 900 pounds of rocks that we didn’t ever know existed before. Dude, you mean to tell me that you can’t scoop up some rock floating around in space? Or an asteroid that hit. But they would have already known and inspected the asteroid, wouldn’t they? Who’s to know? The government comes to take it over. Quarantine. Can’t come in this space anymore.
It’s like they’ve been telling us aliens aren’t real for years, and now they’re like, well, technically we’ve been in contact with him for a bit. So yeah. This is all under the assumption that the US government is telling you the whole truth, which they clearly never do. Not one time ever. They’re always lying. It’s so easy for them to lie. Let’s say you’re in a trial and you have, “Oh, I have my expert who’s going to say this,” and then the defense has a different expert who’s like, “Well, no, this.” They’re both experts and they’re both saying contrary things on the same exact topic. But those are opinions. Well, the expert is giving their opinion, whereas we have a physical object that can be inspected, and it’s an expert giving their opinion on it.
Here’s Apollo, who’s a master arborist, not to be confused with the Apollo program. No, my cousin. And he’s been in different depositions and court cases where trees and blah blah blah, and he’s giving his scientific understanding of how it works, and somehow some of them, they still, it goes the other way. So sure, there’s a science of a tree, there’s a science of biology. To your point, I guess they could lie. We just got to believe whatever they’re saying. They could make up some stuff about these rocks. Science isn’t a perfect system. 2,000 years ago we thought the entire universe was our solar system.
I’m just saying that science changes. It’s a fluid thing. He’s saying we don’t know everything. That’s the point. Science isn’t a finite thing because it’s constantly changing. You can’t assume that we just know everything. But it should be, because that’s the whole definition of science. No, it’s not. The scientific method is being able to prove out something. Doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily fact. It’s based on your best possible assumption based on proving out that something happens. Physical laws. But our concept of physical laws is only based on what we can prove.
For example, if you couldn’t prove that radiation was a real thing, then it’s a theory. But then you’re like, “Okay, so there’s particles flying around. Got it.” But then it keeps evolving. We’re constantly changing the laws. The laws change because you find out more stuff. That’s my only point, is that we’re finding out more stuff always. So the laws could change. Fine. But you’re saying that they found out that we have these rocks that didn’t exist before and now they do. Well, they’re saying supposedly. So they’re lying. Yes. 100%. I don’t trust the government either. I have zero trust. Especially with the space race going on, they have a lot to prove and a lot to lose. So much to lose.
Next one. Why are the retro reflectors placed during the Apollo missions still used today to measure the Earth’s moon distance? That’s a great question. For people who don’t understand what a retro reflector is, in the simplest possible terms, imagine a mirror on the moon, and then you shoot a laser at it, and then it bounces the laser back, and then based on the time it takes for the laser to bounce back, you’re able to calculate distance. So it’s almost like if you play golf and you have a laser finder, a distance finder. It’s doing the same exact thing. It’s a high-tech rangefinder with the moon.
And I used to think that’s the one. It’s like, okay, how do you know? You can take an actual laser, do what Sean’s saying. You can point it at the moon and you can get the data back. But that doesn’t prove that we landed there. Like an unmanned. You can easily get an unmanned thing there. We’ve got unmanned stuff on Mars, bro. So you get unmanned stuff there, no problem. I used to like that one, though. I used to think, oh well, there it is. But not really. That one’s kind of super loosey goosey.
I mean, but there is the point that clearly the moon is constantly being bombarded by random stuff. Little stuff is hitting it all the time. It’s a big surface. But that’s like saying, “Oh, Earth is getting hit with asteroids all the time.” Okay, but very little ones. We also have an atmosphere that makes a lot of small stuff burn up before it can break through the stratosphere. That one I’m kind of like, nah, about. Could go either way. Doesn’t prove that a man put that there. I’ve also never had anyone come up to me and be like, “What about the retro reflector though, bro?” Not a one homie has brought that up.
Okay, next one. How were independent countries and observatories able to track the spacecraft traveling to the moon in real time? If they were able to track it or not track it, why didn’t they whistleblow it? Yeah, I’ve wondered how they were able to do that. Back to the technology portion of it. I don’t know how they were having real time tracking systems. There was no GPS. I don’t know how they were. I mean, I guess you have some sort of beacon or receiver. But that one I really don’t know.
Because that would also, if it were conspiratorial, that means that other people tracking were involved. I’m thinking super low tech where it’s just the equivalent of an air tag, but it’s sending a radio frequency every 5 or 10 minutes, whatever. It’s shooting a frequency. But it’s not the same, because it’s not geopositioning it. It’s just being like, “Hey, we’re here, bro.” You’re sending a radio wave back. I don’t know. Did they even have that type of tech in the ’60s, to where you can geoposition stuff? I know they had radar. I don’t think so. So how do they know exactly where they are? That’s why I have a hard time.
So skeptics argue that tracking signals alone do not prove a human landing took place. A spacecraft or even just a signal relay could have been sent to simulate. Oh yeah, they put a probe out there. There’s no one to prove it otherwise. Without actually proving that landing astronauts on the surface. That’s a very good point. You just rip a probe out and it’s like, “Oh, see. Look at the little waves coming back. They’re there.”
Okay, so that was the 10 main questions. And then what we have now are supporting and/or not supporting facts about it, and I’m going to go through the facts supporting it. And then you guys can go through the facts not supporting it. And then we can see where we’re at.
Okay. Multiple Apollo missions, not just one, successfully landed on the moon. So remember, there were I think six landings on the moon. So it wasn’t just one hoax. They landed six manned missions to the moon. Six. So the argument is it’s not one hoax. It’s six. That is, I don’t know what to say about this. That’s tough.
Now, a friend of mine brought up the conspiracy of it, which is that we did land on the moon, but not the first time. I can get behind that. We just bought time until they figured it out, and then they were like, “Okay, we did it finally.” It’s kind of like the iPhone. When the iPhone was released, it didn’t actually work. And then we found out later it didn’t actually work. Steve Jobs, there was pressure. He’s like, “Trust me.” So that’s the same theory, which is that Apollo 11 we didn’t actually do it, but then the later Apollo missions we did.
But this still brings up the point of, I can’t wrap my head around destroying all the data of the greatest feat in the history of mankind. It’s like imagine Da Vinci is just like, “Oh cool, I just did the ceiling of the place. Burn it down.” Why? It was the single greatest achievement. That should be in the Smithsonian. They should be worshiping the telemetry. But we brought that up in the pyramids episode, which was lost technology. But that’s 5,000 years. That’s so much time. Wars happen and countries take over and they pillage and destroy all your stuff.
But I guess the concept would be you don’t need the DOS system anymore. So why do you need to know the procedure of how to use that DOS system? And so then it’s moved forward into a new technology. And a new generation comes along. And it’s not even just one new generation. It’s four. They don’t need to use it. That’s insane. No, because it also didn’t get quote unquote lost four generations later. It was less than one. Like literally a single generation. The same generation messed it up.
How long’s the work span of a person? It’s been 60 years, bro. What do you mean three? The work span, I don’t know, 40 years. Let’s say you start around 20, and you work until 65ish. So that’s two generations. One. Two. Okay, fine, 45. Technology has advanced so much in such a short amount of time. Yeah, but we’re talking about loss. We’re not talking about advance. We’re talking about losing.
I’ll give you an idea. Your kid, have them sign into AOL with dialup. No, but the technology is not gone. It’s not deleted. They’re not going to be able to sign into AOL via dialup. They’re not getting into AIM. But the technology is not gone. It’s not deleted. Number two, we’re talking about the next generation, and me and Sean are saying it’s the same generation. In your same vein, you’re like, “Oh well, we moved on, we got better stuff, but we can’t do what we did back then.” So it’s clearly not better, because we can’t do it.
So there are high resolution images from the orbiters around the moon that show the landing sites still exist. You can pull them up and they show the landing sites of all the Apollos. And you can see where they landed and the tracks, because there’s no atmosphere. So the tracks stay the same. There’s nothing to disturb it. So there’s actual photographic evidence of the landing sites of the Apollos. Is it though? Granted, on the other side, it could be just photo. I mean, AI these days. Look, I could be a super hot chick on Instagram and you would have no idea. Nowadays it’s so hard to trust. Even Artemis, how do you trust it? It’s so sad that we’re at that point where you literally just can’t trust anything.
And I think that’s the problem. That’s why we exist, because it’s like, fool me, can’t get fooled again. They fooled us like 65 times and we’re like, “Okay, we’ll believe it this time.” So the other facts of it is that the rocket launches were witnessed by hundreds of thousands of people live. 100%. So is Artemis. I definitely believe you can go into space. That’s why I’m saying both things can be true.
And then people are like, “Well, why does a rocket go sideways?” And I’m like, that’s an easy explanation. You go sideways because you’re trying to get on the freeway of the Van Allen belt. You’re going into orbit. When you’re launching it out, you’re launching it to go into the orbit of the Earth to go around it. Because when you’re mapping it out, the Earth is obviously spinning. So if you just go straight up and you’re trying to get over here, you can map it out. No, well, yeah, but not with the radiation. How are we going to map out radiation deep in space? I know. I just want to rage bait you. So you go out into the orbit and then once you hit the right spot, then we go towards the target.
And then the last kind of things on this is that there have been so many missions and thousands of people behind it and the advancement in physics, engineering, and navigation. And the goal that everybody as a group put there and worked diligently and worked hard to achieve became a success of man. It doesn’t have to be America. It’s a success of mankind. One giant leap for mankind. That’s right. So the idea is, yes, there are questions, there are things that maybe are unknown, but overall it goes back to, when we work hard at something at a goal, man can achieve it.
Listen, I’m in full agreement that that is a thing. Imagine, do you know how your car works? Theoretically, not all the way. But you ain’t fixing it. You were like, “Yeah, gas lit on fire and pistons pump.” But there’s no question we use it. There is also the thing of, anytime something’s new or unknown, it’s scary. People are going to attack it. People are going to disbelieve until they do it again, until it becomes commonplace, and you become numb to it.
We’re at a point where technology has advanced so much that, for example, if you asked Eric to build the iPhone, zero percent chance. Zero idea. If you went back in time, you’re like, “I’m not providing any value.” Zero value. Doesn’t mean we didn’t make it. Doesn’t mean that mankind and our ability to solve problems wasn’t there. And that’s where my last argument will be with it. But then we have additional facts supporting the questions. And then we’ll do our summations.
So Jorge, you want to take these? All right. Well, let’s get into the other side. The good side. Exactly, the good side of truth. The main thing here is the politicalness of the whole Cold War going on. A staged landing would have delivered an immediate and decisive propaganda victory. So it’s all about PR. Oh, it’s the ultimate PR. We did it. We landed humans on the moon. So even if, yeah, it’s just about how it looks. It’s not even did it actually happen. What does everybody believe?
It’s also what Eric had brought up in the beginning, which is the pressure. You have a deadline, dude. I’ve seen people do some weird stuff under pressure. Hella sketch stuff where they’re like, “Well, we’ll just double count this sale.” I used to, when I was managing other recruiters, dude, just lie on your call stats. “Oh, I made this many calls.” And that’s a small example, but it’s a perfect example. But scale that up to running the entire United States. And you’re the manager and you’re like, “Of course we landed. Duh. Don’t fire me.”
So his example is you’re a sales manager and each of your sales guys have a quota of 100 calls a day and they did 40 calls that day, and you’re pressuring them hard. And then they go, “Well, yeah, I did 62 calls.” And then 22 of those calls are double dials. Even more, the sales manager’s like, “Well, Eric over here has got 135 calls. What’s up with you?” Eric is lying. It’s like an auto dialer. So it’s all for show. What the people believe at the end of the day, in order to win. Oh dude, you’ll do whatever it takes to win.
And winning, it’s probably in that moment, our country’s done if we don’t do this. The pressure is so extreme. Motivated by patriotism, and the fear of communism was really real. Oh, it’s intense. It’s strangely real, dude. Almost like, well, why was it that bad? Almost like propaganda. It’s almost like goals.
Well, the next one is, and this one is a big one, and Sean’s talked about this a couple times, but all the telemetry data, all this data that they have to show for it, is gone. It’s gone. The most important data that’s ever existed. How does that happen? Ever. 9/11, okay, some data is missing, fine. But not all of it, dude.
Okay, I’m going to give you an example. So back in the day, photography in the 1800s was a different thing than it is now. Did they have photography in the 1800s? Yeah, they did. So how they would do photography is that they plate the big things with the silver plate, and then they would let light in. And then they would have chemicals that would react to the light, and then they would have emulsion, and all these different chemical plates. And then they would go into a dark room and use more chemicals on top of it and have multiple plates. And you could create colors and kind of a vague picture.
As the example, that technology is not taught in any school anymore. Because guess what? We can still get pictures. But we can’t land on the moon stuff. And we can get better pictures, more high definition pictures. All I’m trying to say is that technology is technically lost. Or it will be lost in about 50 years. Because nobody’s going to really care or know about how to take those photos, because I got this iPhone, and we’re going to just take photos because it’s better. But the fact is that you’re still getting the end product.
So your example would hold weight if they lost it, but we have now a better, more efficient, higher rate of success way of getting to the moon. But we didn’t. It was gone. There was no way to get to the moon. The technology advanced. But the only difference is, what if photography didn’t advance? Well, then your analogy would make sense. So going to the moon didn’t advance? No, because nobody cared anymore. There was no money put into it.
Do you know how much money NASA gets? Legit, from 1974 to 2000, the moon thing wasn’t a thing, and funding was not the same, and the attention was not staying. While that is true, going back to what actually happened back in ’69, why would that data get lost? Just on Eric’s point of they didn’t get any money, between 1970 and 2000, NASA’s cumulative funding was approximately 240 to 250 billion dollars. There’s just no money. So what were they doing the whole time? Great point.
They were getting rich. That’s what they were doing. Maybe that’s why they destroyed it. They were like, “We need job security.” They just did nothing. They were vibing. We won, baby. We won. But we need more billions. 240 to 250 billion. That’s so much money in 30 years. That’s 8 billion a year. And imagine eight billion in the 70s. That’s like infinity money. What were they doing, dude? And we wonder why we’re in a deficit. 1984, test number 3,212 of if this Mentos goes into the Coke bottle. I wonder how many Miller lights we can buy with 240 billion dollars.
So technology advances and then old technology becomes antiquated and there’s no reason to have it anymore. But the fact is we never advanced that technology. It never actually advanced. So my thing was, was it never actually that advanced in the first place? And we needed more time in order to get it to the point where it could be workable. I wonder if maybe it was just so sloppy that there were no checks and balances. There were no procedures. Over 4,000 people worked on this one? No, maybe it was just unorganized. That is possible. It’s probably not that far off. It’s all filing cabinets.
So tell me another super critical big event where the data got lost since then. The Pentagon’s tax returns. Yeah, the Pentagon’s audit. The lost trillions, like 5 trillion. I see what you’re saying. You’re saying put up a comparative loss of technology of something major. It’s just, it doesn’t happen, because technology is so important. Imagine if all of a sudden all the tech on AI just got deleted. People would be in an uproar. It’s such a keystone moment in American dominance. It would be like a museum. It would be cherished. It’s a pinnacle moment of our prestige. And it’s just like, oopsy daisies. But maybe homies were not paying attention. I don’t know. It’s possible. Good points.
We’re going to get into the next one. And you guys probably saw some interviews and videos of people, while we were doing our homework. There’s a bunch of interviews out there of the astronauts and some of them are a little sketchy. You’re talking about like Buzz Aldrin punching the guy. Yeah. There’s also they’re like, “Swear on the Bible that you went there,” and they won’t do it. I chalked that one up to the paparazzi. I can imagine being annoyed. You’re just like, “Get the heck away. Of course I went. I spent my entire life doing this, and then you’re coming in here at the bowling alley.”
Okay, but that’s the punch. What about they don’t want to swear on the Bible? Because what if they’re not religious? Well, then they would just do it. If you weren’t religious, what would stop you? “Okay, I’ll swear on the Bible. Who gives a shit?” Wait, wait, wait. If you don’t believe in God, are you going to go swear on the Bible in court? Sure, you have to. No, I’m not. Well, I thought you had to. You know what? That just blew my mind. Because there is freedom of religion. What do you do then?
Tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Swear to God. So help you God. It’s Christian. What do you do? That’s a great question. Obviously the perjury laws still say the same, but do you actually do that still, or are we just, is this just a TV thing? On that note, I just saw a video yesterday. Trump did not put his hand on the Bible during the inauguration. He didn’t. He’s like, “I’m doing me.” Do you have to? I don’t know. It’s customary. It’s like a custom. Doesn’t necessarily mean it has to be religious. It’s a custom. It’s almost like if you get a new job and they’re like, “This is the training,” and you’re like, “Well, I already know it,” and they’re like, “Well, everyone does the training.”
I mean, it’s a lot different than, in school you do pledge allegiance. Not anymore, dude. They haven’t done that for 20 years, bro. No, my daughter did at one of her schools. She’s changed schools a couple times. The one she’s at now she does. I used to when I was in grade school. You pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Yeah, that’s why they took it out, I think. The separation of church and state. They had to take the religious connotations out of everything.
And just so we’re all clear, I’m not saying I don’t believe in God. I’m just telling you. Here’s the thing, bringing the other side of the argument, unless you’re atheist, isn’t God religiously agnostic? It’s whatever God you believe in. It could be, but it’s one nation under God. Unless you’re like Indiana and they believe in multiple gods. No, I thought you were still talking about putting their hand on the Bible. Oh, no, I’m talking about the pledge of allegiance specifically, because if it’s just saying under God, it’s not specifying under Christian God. It could be under another God technically. Very true.
If we have any lawyers listening, we would actually like to know. The question is, if you don’t subscribe to the Christian, putting your hand on the Bible saying, “I promise to tell the truth,” what route can you go? I think constitutionally you don’t necessarily have to. You just have to promise that you’re going to tell the truth. It’s like a verbal contract. Like, “Trust me. Just trust me on this. On my wife. I pledge allegiance, one nation under my wife.”
Anyways, going back to these interviews, some of them do seem very evasive, very sus to some. I saw one, the dude went to this guy’s house, and it was one of the astronauts, and he was asking him the stuff and they got super pissed, kicked him out, which is understandable. But then they threatened to shoot the guy. He’s like, “Shoot me, brother. Please shoot me.” He’s got it all on camera. It got really intense. I was like, “What the heck?” I don’t know if I’d be like, “I’m going to shoot you.” I’d just be like, “Get out of my house, bro.” First of all, I would never let you into my house. Hell no. I’ll go where you are. I’ll come to you.
So here we are, guys. Technically speaking, we’re about four hours deep into this. Allegedly. Now we’re all lawyers. Circumstantial at best. I’ll try to do my summary. We landed on the moon, guys. Based on what? You sound like discredited Jim Carrey. We just discredited everything. We landed on the moon. When? In 1969, we landed on the moon. You’re lying. That’s where I’m at. I don’t know what to tell you. 400,000 people worked on this for a decade long. We overcame obstacles. We overcame the problems of the time and the technology.
I’m going to give you one quick point. The US government employs 4 million people. So since there’s four million people, the government obviously can’t do any nefarious shady things because there’s 4 million employees. I don’t disagree with you on that. But you’re entitled to your opinion. We definitely made it to the moon. That’s where I’m at. And what’s your number one that you point to that convinced you? What convinced you? The sheer effort over a decade long and the amount of money, time, and expertise put into it.
And there’s no evidence that says at all. Do you know how many people Zuckerberg employed for the metaverse and how much money he put into that behind it? It didn’t happen. Like, what’s the convincing factor, not what wasn’t? You can’t deduce that it was real. So 400,000 people working on it for a decade. Film, audio. Oh, the film. You really going to go for the film? We didn’t even get into the film. The film is hilarious. So what’s wrong with the film? Depending on which one you’re pointing to. It looks like, when they’re putting the flag, I’m like, okay. It’s so fake. It’s almost like a caricature.
I know, but we’ve never been there. It’s a zero gravity environment that we’ve never seen. It’s a foreign land. Of course it’s going to look weird. But why would it look like what it looks like when you’re in a studio strapped to a harness? Oh, that’s a great thing. What do you think about all those harness videos of the guys on the space station where there’s clearly harnesses? You can see them, you can tell by their movements. How do we explain that? That is bizarre.
So here’s the only give I’m going to give you. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a backup plan. Define backup plan. For example, it was found that Richard Nixon had a speech prepared for when they died if they died. And you can actually look it up. His team wrote a speech just in case they exploded or died. So that is a backup plan that a team put together as just in case this happens. So I do believe that there could have been a backup plan of some sort of filming in a studio. And I bet that’s where the conspiracy comes from, that there was a team going, “Hey, what if the video cuts out? We’re going to the moon and we’re going to land on the moon, but what if the video cuts out and we have no video? All right, we’ll do a repurposed video in Nevada.” So you’re kind of agreeing with us, but only because it was the backup plan that also got out. I hadn’t heard that one before.
And the only thing, I don’t know, dude, I go back and forth. But back to Sean’s part about the radiation. So how did Artemis get through it this time? No, that’s what I’m saying. This is 60 years in the future. I think they figured it out. Different technology for sure. I think they’ve definitely got it sauced out. So then you go back to, the technology didn’t really exist. That’s my thing, that they needed a win and they had to have the win. So they made the win, and then eventually they figured it out. And I think so one of the moon landings later, they got it.
I don’t think we’ve ever actually landed on the moon. Not even the six. All of them are just, I think they’re all. Isn’t it odd that we’re the only country who’s ever put people on there? Every other country’s made it. So that’s why I think now they lost the technology, because they couldn’t get people past the Van Allen belt. They could get to the moon. They could get probes. They could get everything to the moon. They just couldn’t get people there. So I think the technology got lost because they were like, “Oh well, why aren’t we going back to the moon? Oh well, the technology got lost.” So I think they had so many missions because they were trying. They kept trying to see if they could do it. And they just couldn’t do it. And then they stopped it.
It just doesn’t realistically make sense that only the US could land six missions on the moon with people, but no other country. They’re all stupid. They can’t do it. No one else can do it but us. They don’t have the mitzvah. So I think everyone else had the same problem. We’re like, “Dude, we can’t get past this. We’re just going to die.” Sure, we can get them past, but they’ll just die on the ship, and they’re never coming back. So then I think we finally figured it out.
What is the only reason you would revamp this program 60 years later? Because you figured it out. You finally did it. And that’s why they were so pumped. Those astronauts were pumped. They were like, “We’re finally going to get past low earth orbit.” I think one of them slipped up. Like, “Yeah, we’re going to finally make it for the first time, the first people to make it past low earth orbit.” And it was like, again. So I think they finally were like, “We figured it out, guys. We solved it.” The program gets revamped and now it’s such a big deal, and that’s why I think they had them go around, so they can be the furthest away from Earth ever, to make it new. They’re like, “Oh my god, we finally did it, boys.” That’s my opinion.
So we’re going to start to see more going to the moon, walking on the moon. I guarantee you within the next couple years there’s going to be a mission to land on the moon. 100%. I agree. Like I think they figured it out now, with the cameras. Oh yeah, they’ll be live streaming, dude. Their homies live streaming from the moon. I guarantee you within 5 years it’s like, selfie on the man. He’s going to take a selfie on the moon. You know Trump’s like, “Do you think I could do like a call on the moon? Do you think I could do one call?” You know he asked that already. Oh, for sure.
But they’re also going to take videos and pictures of the flag and this and that. It’s going to be so crisp and so undeniable. And then we’re going to be like, “Oh.” But it doesn’t handle the past, but it’ll solidify the lie. Once they do it, see, we’ve been here, the moment, we made it. It’ll solidify and you’ll stop asking questions. You’ll be like, “Oh, okay, it’s real.” But it’s only real now. That’s my theory. It’s not a bad theory. I don’t know if I said this on the last ones. Exactly what we do here at the podcast, we just recycle stuff year after year. People like, “This is a hot take.”
I subscribe to, the first time was not real. The other times it did happen. So two through five were legit? Yes. And you know what? I don’t fully disagree with you on that. Oh, I thought Eric was going to be like, “It’s all six.” No, it’s possible that it just bought us time. And then they’re like, “Okay, there’s too much pressure against this whole space race.” It’s the Steve Jobs thing. Just pump it out. We’ll figure it out later. People will be pissed, but at least we released it. Build it and they will come. Just let it rip.
I’m leaning on that. So we’ll just force the update to go through and we’re good to go. And we pretty much debunked everything, all the top 10 questions me and Sean did, as far as why it didn’t happen. But I’m not saying it never happened. I’m saying the first thing. There were a couple of things I was surprised to turn on. Both you and Eric made great points about the camera lenses and the stars thing. I was like, okay. But that could also easily be done outside of the moon environment. So easy. I can do it on my back patio tonight. It’s just an easy way to explain it, but it still doesn’t necessarily explain that we didn’t go there, the first time.
I’m telling you, we never went. It’s the sole fact that no other country on this planet, a human being on the earth. I know I fully think that the United States is superior, but you mean to tell me they’ve had 70 years and they haven’t figured it out, but only us have? It’s hard to believe that we’re the only ones. They can all make nukes and stuff, but they can’t. It’s just hard to believe. People are greedy. What, Russia’s not going to be like, “I will literally give you a billion dollars to tell us how we got it”? I want to do a whole podcast with Sean and his Russian accent. I can’t do it now. I’m thinking too much about it.
Well, there you go, guys. We didn’t solve anything. I solved it. Did you get more data though? I changed my mind about certain aspects. But I think I solved it. Not really. Well, did you believe that we didn’t make it the first time? Would you have that same theory last time? I think so. I really truly believe that we just figured it out within the last 10 years, how to get through. And then I think what revamped it, they’ve been trying to figure it out, and then once Elon Musk was like, “Oh, I just spent four years and I made rockets reusable and I saved like a trillion dollars,” and they’re like, “Oh, we got to figure it out now.”
I mean, the technology that’s out now. Did you guys ever watch that video I sent you about the ghost murmur stuff? I DM’d it to you. I texted it to you. You guys suck. Every week, it’s like Sunday at 11 p.m. I’m like, I have 78 reels to go through. But then what happens is I get sucked in and I just send you guys like seven, and instead of actually looking I’m like, “Send, send.”
So recently, you know the soldier that got stranded in Iran? The technology they use to find them. So the CIA, it’s public. They announced it in a press conference. They have this tech that’s called Ghost Murmur, which is like some telescope looking thing that’s mounted on a helicopter and it blasts this radius down at the ground. Now wait for this. It can detect a heartbeat. In a 40 mile radius. So when your heart beats, the way your body works, it gives off this tiny electromagnetic field. And it can literally pick up this microscopic electromagnetic field of your heartbeat.
So this thing on the helicopter will basically reduce all the noise, because there’s frequency from the earth, the planet, other living organisms, and it eliminates all that and it can focus on, apparently everybody has, it’s almost like DNA, everybody has your own heartbeat frequency signature. My point is, look at that technology, dude. We’ve made it. They said it basically comes, you know when you go to the doctor and they listen to your heart, they hook you up to some machine? That times 40 million. And I was looking for my phone yesterday, like legit pissed. So we have the tech to go to the moon. Oh yeah, for sure. It’s solved. We figured it out. Solved, boys.
